Asian Marriage Festival Rituals

Eastern marriage festival rituals are based on selected theological teachings/guidelines and usually incorporate many aspects of culture, traditions and folklore. They can be very sophisticated or just a few easy rituals. Some are based on the concept of bringing great success while another merely represent an opportunity to demonstrate respect to elders, family and friends.

Mehndi Service

An significant prior- bride tradition in Indian traditions, Mehndi is applied to the hands of the bride/groom by their female family members on the day of the wedding. This is done as a symbol of love and affection.

Chinese Ceremony Service

During the” Zuo Chuang” ( the ceremonial welcome to the bride’s home ) the groom’s parents and his family will meet the bride at her house. They will repeat verses of poetry and the groom’s mom did provide her with a pair of Longer Feng Ngaak, sexy chinese which are silver bracelets with dragon and falcon motifs as a sign of affection.
