The Home Stretch of Your Marriage Planning Timeline

With most of the large decisions crossed off your record, you’re in the home stretch of marriage planning. During this time, it’s important to focus on okay- tuning the details that will make your big evening unique.

This includes completing your service seats table once you have the last Rsvps, ordering wedding favors and papers goods, and sending your vendors a evening- of schedule. It’s even a good idea to review the legal requirements for obtaining your marriage registration, which differ by position.

Depending on the style of ceremony you’re having, it may be a good idea to finish your invitations and deliver out Rsvps around six decades before your bridal. This does provide your friends and family plenty of time to certain their dates, book vacation accommodations, and generate arrangements if they’re not able to participate.

It’s also a good idea to touch base with your wedding professionals around this time and confirm all bookings and complete contracts. It’s not uncommon for some vendors to book up to a year in advance, so it’s best to reach out sooner rather than later to secure your preferred dates.

If you want to include any readings in your ceremony, this is a great time to help friends and family select passages they’d like to read. And if you plan on having entertainment for your wedding, this is when it’s a good idea to ask them to start working on their performance, especially if they will be performing during dinner and/or the dance floor set.
